BYJU'S FutureSchool is an online education technology platform that offers both private — one student to one dedicated teacher - — online, personalized classes, as well as close group online classes with one dedicated teacher to four students. Designed to be a school of the future in our approach to teaching and how our students learn, our hands-on, interactive curriculum inspires creative thinking and generates creative outcomes. Our proprietary, research-based curriculums include coding for students grade 1-12, music for students grades 1-12, and math for students grade 1-8 with additional advanced math classes in development.

BYJU'S FutureSchool uses a holistic approach to educating your child.

• Visual Interactive Learning - Our school of the future uses advanced audio-visual interactive learning tools and techniques. So, rather than sitting around listening to a teacher lecture, your child learns by personally participating in hands-on, online activities and lessons. This immersive approach helps your child organically learn the material during class while also retaining the information better after class has ended.
• Flexible and Personalized Learning - No two children are the same, and each child has his or her own style of learning. To create as much personalization as possible, your child's teacher and specific online coursework will be chosen based on their individual learning level and not just based on their age.

Early Ideation

Aspirational Space Theme

A strong space theme ties the experiences together and adds fun, visual elements, making the app stand out from the boring competition.

The space theme is also very fitting of the Byju's purple.

Process

Design Sprints

We conducted design sprints to facilitate collaboration cross-departments. Product Designers, Product Managers and Creatives contributed their fresh ideas in this sprint. The purpose of these sprints is to align everyone on the same goal—To give our consumers best learning experience.

After alot of Discussions we decided on few things like:

Device Selection for Best Experience

LearnStation's tabletop camera system allows the device to see desk workspace and allows the child to interact with objects infront of the device.

LearnStation has a front-facing camera that can be used at the same time as the tabletop to allow a better connection between the child and the teacher.

Later on we decided to develop it for Mobile as well.

Brainstormed with each others on initial Wireframes for the Designs.

We mapped each archetype to their user journey on the app, with their respective success metrics.

We divided the whole experience into 3 parts:

• Dashboard Experience
• In-Class Experience
• Post Class Experience

Dashboard Experience

It mainly consists of the Home Screen as well Journey Screen. You need to Schedule/Cancel your classes according to your time which then appear on your Journey Page as well. We do provide upto 2 Cover up classes for our students if they miss something, they could easily schedule that too. If you need to change the Subscription Plan that also is covered under Dashboard experience.

In-Class Experience

It mainly consists of the 1:1 classes with teachers as well Presentations with whole Group. It also has Art classes, Breakour Rooms in which your perform fun activities with Teacher, Various types of Quizzes, Report Card discussions in Class with Teacher. We also have Customer Support (Tech Help) if there is any prob in class.

Post-Class Experience

It mainly consists of the Assignments Submissions, Activities (Homework) which needs to be performed before joining another class. We also have Report Card View which show how you are performing in your subjects. We also provide Class Revisions which help you recall your syllabus.
